Do you prefer being a publisher or writer?
BL: Writing isn’t a job for me anymore, so I would have to say publishing. At this stage, writing is my release.
What is the most surprising thing you discovered about yourself while writing books?
BL: I am a hopeless romantic! I absolutely love love. I’m obsessed with happily ever after's.
How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
BL: Over 115. I can’t say I have one favorite, but some of my tops are Promise to Keep it Trill, Coffee with a Side of You, Rule and Camryn and Trapped Wishes.
What comes first, the plot or the character(s)?
BL: Plot for sure.
Do you have any goals for the authors of BLP this year?
BL: I want them to learn the business and be more independent. I also want us to start getting deeper into audiobooks before the year is over.
Is there anything you’re currently working on that you can tell us about?
BL: I’m working on something urban for May. I’m not sure if it will be out by the time this is, but it’s definitely not like anything I’ve ever done before. It has that classic street lit feel where love isn’t the main focus but it is definitely there.
How many plot ideas are just waiting to be written? Can you tell us about one?
BL: Whew. A lot, lol. I can come up with an idea from a simple thought or song, so the ideas are endless. One that I want to do is a mystery/thriller type where a woman has to choose which man is her true love, a stalker, and a murderer. That’s all I can say!
What is the most difficult part about writing for you?
BL: Probably waiting to release the books, honestly. I write so quick and often that that is never the hardest part.
How do you come up with the titles to your books?
BL: I like to play off the theme of the book or a song title.
Where can readers find you?
BL: On all social media I am @authorblove My website is www.authorblove.net
