Hello Heartbreakers! As we dive into 2026, I’m excited to share the first five books on my reading list. Each of these books brings something unique and captivating, and I can’t wait to immerse myself in their worlds. Let’s get started!

1. Savory Seconds by Chassilyn

I just finished "Savory Seconds," and let me tell you, it was the perfect way to welcome the new year, even though it’s a Thanksgiving-themed book. I had meant to read it last month, but better late than never, right? Chassilyn’s ability to weave family dynamics and the warmth of holiday gatherings into a compelling narrative kept me turning the pages. The delightful mix of humor, love, and a sprinkle of drama made it a truly savory read.

2. Problematic by Ladii Nesha

Next up is "Problematic" by Ladii Nesha. I am a big fan of her work, and this book is a hefty 651 pages, so you know she has a lot to say after her writing hiatus. I’m eager to dive into her latest story, knowing it will be filled with rich characters and intricate plots. Ladii Nesha never disappoints, and I’m ready to lose myself in her world once again.

3. Ready or Not by Brookelyn Mosley

I’m also gearing up to read "Ready or Not" by Brookelyn Mosley. With a follow-up book dropping soon, I want to be fully prepared. Brookelyn has a knack for creating relatable characters and engaging storylines that keep me invested from start to finish. I’m looking forward to seeing where she takes us in this book and how it sets the stage for what’s next.

4. Last Man on Earth by Shae Sanders

This one comes highly recommended by you guys in the group! "Last Man on Earth" by Shae Sanders has been creating quite the buzz, and I’m eager to see what all the hype is about. I’ve loved Shae’s previous work, so I’m confident this book will be another hit. The anticipation of discovering what makes this story so special is thrilling, and I can’t wait to jump in.

5. Chasing Galaxies by Evelyn Latrice

Finally, we have "Chasing Galaxies" by Evelyn Latrice, part of her intriguing 8 Wonders Series. I’ve become quite attached to the characters in this series, and I’m excited to follow their adventures in this latest installment. Evelyn’s ability to create vivid, imaginative worlds is truly something special, and I’m sure this book will be a cosmic journey worth taking.

These five books are sure to make the start of my 2026 reading journey exciting and memorable. I’d love to hear what’s on your reading list this year. Let’s keep the conversation going and share our thoughts on these incredible stories. Happy reading!
