What's one interesting thing you learned in creating your books?
CF: One interesting thing I’ve learned is that you should never take anything personal. Always research because the readers sometimes can be brutal when they feel like you haven’t researched lol.
What's a genre you haven't tried but want to?
CF: A genre that I want to try but haven’t is contemporary romance.
What's your 5 yr goal in this industry?
CF: My 5 yr goal would be to be a full-time author and having a larger catalog.
What's the weirdest thing you researched for a book?
CF: I don’t know if it would be considered weird but I’ve researched about sexually transmitted diseases and how they looked to get a better visual on how to describe them lol.
If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be?
CF: I would tell myself to write for you. Make your own lane and stay there.
Name an author that inspired you?
CF: I have a few authors that inspired me and just off the top of my head Diamond Johnson, Natisha Raynor, AJ Davidson, Shvonne Latrice and there’s many more.
What are you working on now?
CF: I’m working on finishing A Project Chick and A Haitian Boss 4 as well as another new story.
What your goal for the rest of 2022/2023?
CF: To finish out all open series and prepare for 2023. 2023 I plan to (fingers crossed) drop at least one book a month and go to a few author events.
Any collaborations this year?
CF: No collabs. But I’m hoping in 2023 I can have one or two.
