1. Why did you choose to write in the romance genre?
I love all things concerning black love. And even though we see it more and more now, it’s never enough. So, I want to showcase it in every one of my stories.
2. What is the biggest thing people think they know about your genre, that isn’t so?
That romance novels are all soft. I look at romance as the umbrella and it captures other genre. Romance can be everywhere: a sports romance, an urban romance, a suspense romance, a paranormal romance. The possibilities are endless.
3. What inspires you?
Living life. I’m a two time cancer survivor and every day is truly an inspiration. I try to enjoy it and do what I love and I love creating stories.
4. What makes your books stand out from others?
My books stand out because my characters are relatable and I try to put my spin on existing tropes.
